APIEM Events has been created to contribute to the professionalisation of the events/MICE industry in Asia Pacific. We do this in two main ways. Firstly, APIEM Conferences organises a variety of different in-person and virtual events through which knowledge and understanding of the events/MICE industry is shared. Each year we organise our signature conference – the Asia Pacific State of the Art Events Research Conference – which is hosted by an APIEM Institutional Member on their campus. This conference is an important opportunity for events/MICE faculty lecturers, researchers and practitioners to contribute to the events/MICE international body of knowledge.

Our APIEM Academy contributes to the professionalisation of the events/MICE industry in Asia Pacific by offering 100% online courses, available 24/7, 365 days a year. The curricula and syllabi of our courses are aligned to the United Kingdom National Occupation Standards for the Events Industry and demonstrate that our scholars have the knowledge and understanding to work in the events/MICE industry to an international standard.
